"Opulent Gypsy Neckpiece" - Designed and created in 1998.
This piece is very different from my other neckpieces. I wanted to create a "fun" piece, and utilize lots of color. I use glass, patterns, textures, and different metals for this. I admire the art of calligraphy and I created my own alphabet style. I concentrated on the thick to thin line in these letters, which I view as sculptural shapes cut out of metal. The initials are part of the art in the "Opulent Gypsy" neckpiece. This piece combines a Bohemian yet Sophisticated look that can be worn with jeans to dressy! Each neckpiece is similar but Unique!
*I use nickel silver wire for the neck wire because of its strength and durability. If you cannot wear nickel please specify sterling silver wire.
